Solid wood is a living material. A little care keeps it beautiful for generations.
Everyday care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth
- Wipe spills straight away with a slightly damp cloth, then dry
- Use coasters and mats under hot, cold or wet things
Kerala weather
- Keep pieces a few centimetres from damp walls during the monsoon
- Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun
- Air rooms regularly; don’t cover wood with plastic
Once a year
Re-oil or re-wax the wood with our care kit. For lacquered finishes, a gentle furniture polish is enough.
Upholstery and cane
Vacuum fabric gently and plump cushions weekly. Wipe cane with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally.
